### Myth #1: Mould Only Grows in Dark, Damp Places
While it’s true that mould thrives in damp environments, it can grow in a variety of locations, even in well-lit areas. Mould doesn’t require darkness to grow; it needs moisture, warmth, and a food source, which can include wood, drywall, and even dust.
